Mark and colours

The same mark as Absolute: a pin with an upward chevron — a place and a rise. Absopit is told apart by colour: a saffron chevron instead of a lime one. One shape, one family.

Family

Pin and chevron are taken one-to-one from the Absolute mark. Slant −10°, Unbounded Black, the “o” is the pin.

What was weighed

  • A. Same mark, saffron chevron

    chosen

Closest to Absolute; the difference reads by colour even at 16 px.

  • B. Chevron with a leaf

    rejected

At 16 px the leaf merges with the tip; large, it is the “green = healthy” cliché.

  • C. Bowl and steam

    rejected

Like every poke place; turns to mush at small sizes.

  • D. Pit stop

    for a format

Speed reads as fast food. Good as a badge for the “Pit stop” box.

The “Saffron” palette
